Jim and Mary Maloney hosted an open house for the NHGRS Members and it was a beautiful day.

Upon arrival to their home everyone walked around to the back yard to see a beautiful water garden with two streams of water falls running into a pond full of friendly Koi fish.

After walking by a very nice patio and water feature you see the garden railroad.  Jim is a fan of B&M and Maine Central and made part of his railroad to look like the cliffs of Crawford Notch in NH.

We had a excellent showing of members and guests.  We even had two new members sign up to join the club.

Jim ran his track powered trains and a new F3 A&B that was recently converted to RCS with battery and sound.  He also allowed many members to run their own equipment. While other members enjoyed rail fanning from the shade with refreshments.

Here is a photo of Jim by his new F3

Jim also has an indoor layout he is working on:

Thanks to Jim and Mary for hosting us.
